What Kind Of Publisher We Are
There are three kinds of company an author might be talking to, and most of them are not clear about which one they are. So we will be.
We are not a trade publisher. We do not pay advances and we do not select manuscripts for a list. If what you want is a publisher who pays you, that is a different route — and we will tell you so rather than sell you something else.

That is a paid service, and acceptance by a traditional publisher is never guaranteed. We say the same thing on the service page, because it is the kind of detail people deserve to read twice.

Publishing servicesEvery project is assigned to a named contact before any work begins. You will know exactly who is reading your manuscript, who is designing your cover, and how to reach them. Your book is not passed between anonymous inboxes, and you are not handed to a different person at each stage.
We keep the team small on purpose. A manuscript that travels through four unconnected freelancers is four opportunities for something to get lost.
